Welcome to Castlegregory Golf Club

Castlegregory is a superb links golf course situated between the scenic Lough Gill and Brandon Bay, at Stradbally, near Tralee, Co. Kerry. The magical colours of Mount Brandon act as a magnificent backdrop to this 5876 yard par 68 nine-hole course.The tranquil setting, combined with the excellent use of natural features ensure that Castlegregory provides golfers with an enjoyable but testing challenge. 

Castlegregory Named as Kerry Course of the Year in The Kerryman Newspaper

Kerryman golf correspondent Ger Walsh had this to say in his end of year Honours List...."I am going to single out Castlegregory for special mention. I was there to cover the West Munster final of the Jimmy Bruen between Dooks and Ballybunion and I had not been there for three or four years previously. I really had forgotten what a lovely course it is and on the day it was in great shape and presented a wonderful challenge to both teams"

Pride of place today goes to Mary Sills for her excellent victory in the Lady Captain's Prize. Mary had a cracking score of 66 nett to win by three clear strokes from Marion Burke and Lori Fitzgerald. Congratulations to Captain Merlyn and the Ladies Committee on a brilliantly organised day and a very enjoyable prizegiving and social gathering in Tomasins....see News Page for results and all prize winners

Colin O'Sullivan also hits 66 to take the Men's July Medal in testing conditions.

Captain Mike Williams Prize on this Weekend 12th & 13 July. 27 Hole Stroke with cut after 18. Qualifiers play extra 9 holes on Sunday evening. Prize Giving in Tomasins at 10 p.m. Sun 13th - all welcome.

Mixed Open Scramble (adults only) on Wed 9th July, 6 to 7 p.m.
