Captain Jim intends to play strokeplay competitions on a day to be announced on the morning, also to play off the white tees on occasion instead of our usual green tees.

FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL MEMBERS 

It is the intention of the management committee to have an area on the website which will be restricted to members only. The purpose of this area will be to allow confidential reports, accounts and information to be posted, so that members can remain up to date on club issues. It could also represent a handy forum for members to air their views, make suggestions etc.

In order to receive access to this section, members just need to log on to the site and key in their GUI or ILGU membership number.

CASTLEGREGORY CLUB CHOIR – FIRST OFFICIAL PRACTICE.

After an intense period of cyber singing, Castlegregory Members Choir finally met in real life for the first ever practice session on Thursday night in the Clubhouse. Club meetings began late and the Lough Gill wildlife complained as over fifteen voices sang pretty much in harmony for over an hour. Choir members floated down the river, pulled some invasive wild thyme and experienced a bit of hard times but still kept on singing.

The Choir is open for new members and new song suggestions and would also welcome a musician or two to provide accompaniment.

The next get together is planned for Monday 27^th February at 7 p.m. in the Clubhouse.
