Annual East V West
Congratulations to the men and ladies from the West who regained the annual trophy from the East on a score of 343 pts to 336pts. The West was led to victory by Teresa Rice. Despite being put under pressure by the East Captain and top scorer Donagh Shanahan, Teresa refused to yield and got the tactics just right on the day. Her decision to leave East Captain Donagh and partner 'Star-of-the-East' Gorretti to flounder on the 5th tee box was inspirational.
The East v West is decided on the 10 best stableford cards from each side. Mutterings of 'revenge next year' could be heard from a number of East cars as they left the carpark for the long journey home.

Men's Club Revised Winter Fixtures
Due to the exceptionally inclement weather over the past weeks the Winter League has been abandoned. For the next two Sundays the competitions will be Singles Stableford for Traditional Hampers.
A time sheet will be in operation for next Sunday 16 December 2007.
The following Sunday, 23 December 2007, there will be a Shotgun start. Following the completion of the competition there will be a prize giving in the Clubhouse. Everyone is asked to support this festive day.
The Captains Drive-in will take place on Sunday 20 January 2007 at 8.30am followed by a Mixed Scramble at 9.00am.

Ladies Fixtures
The 9 hole "Build A Hamper Competition" has been extended to Sunday 23 December. Christmas Party night is being held on Friday 14 December at the Cooperage Restaurant Tralee - Lady Captain Merlyn has planned a great nights entertainment with Helen organising the transport, there are plans for a very late night ! Christmas Party Morning kindly sponsored by Mary Rose Binchy & Joan Ferriter is being held on Saturday 15 Dec at 10.00am.
Please submit your names to the Club House by Thursday 13 December.
Presentation of prizes & refreshments will be held straight afterwards.

Sun. 23rd : After Men’s Competition.
Mon. 24th : All day.
Christmas Day: Members only all day.
Wed. 26th : All day.
Thur. 27th : Up to 10 a.m. and from 2 p.m. onwards.
Fri. 28th : From 1 p.m. onwards.
Sat. 29th : No availability – Society booked all day.
Sun. 30th : After Men’s Competition.
Mon. 31st : Up to 10 a.m. From 11 a.m. to 12 noon, and from 1 p.m. onwards.

Clubhouse Office - Winter Opening Hours
The Clubhouse Office opening hours for the Winter are:
Monday to Friday – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday – extended hours to cater for club competitions, societies and green fees.
