The fastest golfing postman west of Tralee, Mike Burrows, combined well with our two Captains Liz and Joe to bring in a massive 84 points to win Sunday’s rumble. Mike had to work hard to keep the Captains in check as they were hell bent on whacking every drive out of sight. Mike said that they appeared to be in training for some forthcoming long driving competition. The Limerick O’Connor Earlie gang forced John Rowan to replace the unavailable Noel Earlie on their team and under protest he helped them to shoot 80 for second. A rag baggle (is that a word?) array of former captains came in third despite the Welsh and Cork members insisting that Frankie use red tees all the time.
